The Homeland Venture Partners, L.P., Managing Directors have extensive experience in the defense and intelligence sectors, and especially good access to promising technologies from universities, Federal laboratories and the SBIR program. This experience, coupled with a strong Technology Advisory Board, provide the Fund with the tools to:

• Identify promising technologies
• Validate the quality of the technologies and obtain high quality peer review
• Develop investment strategies including guiding the companies to complete the management teams for success, and/or develop spin-outs and subsidiaries to support exit strategies
• Mentor the portfolio companies to commercialize the technologies into viable products
• Guide the technology leadership of the portfolio companies/subsidiaries to become comfortable with the value of building a financially successful company instead of continual research projects
• Guide the portfolio companies to develop aggressive marketing programs and partnerships to capture high volume production business
• Guide the portfolio companies to successfully and efficiently develop strong management teams in rapidly growing companies
• Guide the portfolio companies to establish successful high-volume, low-cost manufacturing
• Support the portfolio companies in financing rounds and exit strategies for high returns
