Homeland Venture Partners, L.P. has assembled an outstanding Technology Advisory Board with internationally recognized members who provide the Fund with access to the knowledge necessary to review the complex technologies and market opportunities in order to maximize the return to the Limited Partners and the Fund. The primary areas of specialization of this Advisory Board are:

• Communication and database security
• Defense Industrial base programs and export rules
• SBIR/STTR legislation and high-tech IP protection for small companies
• Congressional support for Homeland Defense markets and experience in obtaining support for "plus-ups" for small companies.
• Asymmetric warfare conduct and strategies
• Intelligence community (CIA, DIA, NSA, NRO, NGA, DoD, State, DHS, FBI, and state and local)
• Intelligence and imagery collection, fusion, dissemination, and presentation to national leaders and tactical forces

The Technology Advisory Board will provide guidance in their areas of specialty in both:

Strategic roles - as leaders of discussions and presentations on topics of their areas of expertise in periodic strategic reviews/retreats to discuss the long-term changes in the marketplace, political changes in the marketplace and environment, technology changes effecting force deployment, and economic impacts of changes in the threat.

Tactical roles - in assisting in the analysis of prospective portfolio candidates and competing technologies/techniques, as well as assisting as necessary in guiding the business plans of portfolio companies and supporting funding for their opportunities.
